What is the manual bonding process of adhesive interlining

Adhesive interlining is a kind of lining coated with hot melt adhesive, which is one of the accessories often used in clothing production. The adhesive interlining is attached to the back of the fabric by heating and ironing. When the fabric needs to express stiffness and thickness, it can be reflected by adding adhesive interlining.
The specific role of adhesive interlining
1. Make the clothing a satisfactory shape and play the role of a skeleton. Under the premise of not affecting the feel and style of the fabric, the stiffness and elasticity of the adhesive interlining can make the garment flat or achieve the desired shape.
2. Improve the anti-wrinkle ability and strength of clothing. Adhesive interlining is used on the collar, lapels, placket, and front of garments made of thin fabrics to make the garments flat and wrinkle-resistant. The lined garments are also more durable due to the protection and fixation of an additional layer of adhesive interlining.
3. Make the hem of the garment clear, straight, and beautiful, and can play the role of modification and beautification. Outside the folded edge of the garment, such as cuffs, cuffs and cuff forks, hem edges and hem forks, etc., use adhesive interlining to make the fold lines straight and distinct.
4. Maintain the stability of the structure, shape, and size of the clothing, and play a role in maintaining the shape. The cut garment will inevitably have some parts with curved shapes and slanted silk strands, such as collar pockets, armholes, etc., but using the adhesive interlining, it can ensure the stability of the structure and size of the garment; It is easy to be stretched and deformed by force, such as the mouth of the bag, the button door, etc., but after using the adhesive interlining, it can not be stretched and deformed easily.
5. Make the clothing thicker and improve the warmth retention of the clothing. Obviously, the thickness of the clothing is increased after the adhesive interlining is used, so the warmth retention of the clothing is also improved.
6. Improve the processability of clothing. Thin and soft silk and single-sided thin knitted fabrics are difficult to process because they are not easy to hold during the sewing process, but the use of adhesive interlining can improve the grip during the sewing process.
The manual bonding process of bonded interlining
1. First of all, it is necessary to find out which side has glue, and then when placing the adhesive interlining, be careful not to mistake the front and back of the fabric.
2. Under normal circumstances, the temperature of the iron with a thinner adhesive interlining is set at 125-135 °C, and the temperature of the iron with a thicker interlining is set at 135-145 °C; choose according to the type of fabric, such as when the fabric is wool fabric, to use "hair" to mark the temperature, and chemical fiber fabrics can use "chemical fiber" to mark the temperature.
3. Press the iron in one place for 7-10 seconds, and be sure to apply pressure when pressing, and move in sequence after sticking firmly. Be careful not to leave a gap when moving.
